St. Thomas Aquinas begin the season with a 49-32 win versus Parma Holy Name at home on Saturday afternoon with a strong defensive effort. The Knights would jump out to an early 11-2 lead in the first when senior Addison Mucci scored the first 10 points of the game. Senior Hayley Smith would settle in and take over the game from the post as she would record her first double-double of the season and score a game high 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Aquinas would set the tone early with their aggressive defense leading to 17 steals on the day. Senior Erica Warren would earn a team high 6 steals on the game. St. Thomas Aquinas will take on Warren JFK on December 5th for their next game.
