For the second time this week, the Lady Knights put together a strong defensive effort and kept their opponents under 20 points. Aquinas jumped out to an early 22-2 first quarter lead with their aggressive press. Seniors Erica Warren and Hayley Smith helped pace the Knights in the first quarter with 14 points between the two.

Both girls would finish the game with double-doubles (Smith 22 points 11 rebounds, Warren 10 points 13 rebounds). Aquinas would continue with their defensive pressure until the end of the third quarter when they found themselves up 52-7. Sophomore Haley Overdorf would help chip in 6 points, and freshman Ahnalisa Gibbons would help with 7 of her own.

Aquinas will be back in action Monday night when they travel to Hudson Western Reserve.
