The St. Thomas Aquinas Lady Knights would find themselves trailing by 11 with 5 minutes left in the game before fighting for a 41-38 victory over league rival John F. Kennedy. Battling foul trouble for the majority of the night, the Knights would grab their first lead since the first quarter, with 1:41 left in the game.

Aquinas would be led in scoring by Cassie Duplin, who would have a hot-shooting 4th quarter while scoring 17 out of her game-high 20 points in the quarter. Freshman Avery Bussey scored 8 points and would hit a clutch 3 pointer to give the Knights the lead for good late in the game.
